Gli infortuni di origine elettrica possono avere effetti gravissimi ed istantanei.Fortunatamente non sono molto frequenti,ma quando accadono possono avere conseguenze anche mortali per folgorazione da contatto con parti dell’impianto o di apparecchi elettrici in tensione. anche gli incendi spesso sono dovuti a cause elettriche quali cortocircuito o surriscaldamento.

• Leggere sempre le istruzioni degli elettrodomestici
• Non attaccare troppi apparecchi a un’unica presa
• non tirare i cavi elettrici degli elettrodomestici per togliere la spina dalla presa
• staccare l’interruttore generale prima di pulire i lampadari o sostituire le lampadine
• evitare il contatto di apparecchi elettrici,cavi o prolunghe con l’acqua
• sostituire le spine rotte

Il gas naturale,è un combustibile pratico e relativamente economico,ma tossico.I principali rischi connessi all’uso dei gas sono: una cattiva combustione del gas,per un insufficiente apporto d’aria,che determina la formazione del monossido di carbonio un gas molto velenoso incolore e inodore:questo gas provoca sonnolenza,senso di confusione mentale,mal di testa,nausea e vomito,e può portare alla morte per intossicazione. perdite o fuoriuscite di gas,dovute a spegnimento della fiamma del fornello di cucina,con pericolo di esplosione che si innesca generalmente per una scintilla dovuta all’uso dell’impianto elettrico.

• Non dimenticare le pentole sul fornello acceso
• Chiudere sempre il rubinetto del gas
• Se in casa c'è odore di gas non accendere fiammiferi o interruttori. Aprire invece le finestre e la valvola principale
• Far eseguire una volta l'anno manutenzione della caldaia e far controllare periodicamente lo stato delle canne fumarie
