The North is extremely cold, with snowy winters.The South have hot summers.
What people live in Russia?
Russia is a big and diverse country People who live there belong to different groups, kind of like big families. These groups are called ethnic groups.
Over 190 recognized ethnic groups in Russia.
Largest ethnic group are the Russians, but there are also many smaller ethnic groups- Tatars, Ukrainians, Chuvash, Chechens, Bashkirs, and many others.
