28 days- it is now 28 days before the initial date Caleb entered the UK. He can submit the application online.

Caleb has reached out to his previous employer as he needs a letter to confirm the employment details for his first 2 years in the UK, his email keeps bouncing back!

Great news! Caleb's parents have found his degree certificate and have sent it to him in the mail.

Caleb has completed the first draft of his application form. He has sent a draft support letter to his current employer for signature.

BRP delay!There is a delay in the production of BRPs, it could take up to 3 weeks for Caleb to receive the new BRP.

Caleb can't find his degree certificate he is required to submit as evidence of his English language. He has contacted his parents in Colombia to see if they can find it.

There is a 4 week waiting list to take the Life in the UK test. Caleb is required to pass the Life in the UK test before he can file his ILR application. The test consists of 24 multiple-choice questions, based on the information in the handbook 'Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents'

Caleb came to the UK under the Tier 2 General (later Skilled worker category) 5 years ago. He works as a Software Developer for ABC and has been sponsored by them for the last 3 years.Previously he worked for another tech company (123). His current role falls under SOC code 2136 Programmers and software development professionalsand his current salary is £40,000 per year, the going rate for this SOC is £34,000.He does not have any dependants. He has an engineering degree from a UK university and used this in his initial Tier 2 General visa application as evidence of english language.

ILR approved and BRP received. Caleb should present his new BRP to his employer so they can undertake a right to work check. He is no longer subject to immigration control, can claim benefits and can remain in the UK indefinitely.
