This cake wasn't created by my grandmother nor it's from her hometown however it was transmitted to me and the rest of my family by her. My grandma first learnt how to make it on her hometown: Vimieiro

- 4 eggs - Weigh the eggs and add an equal weight of: Flour Sugar Butter - 1 teaspoon of self-raising flour

Beat the egg whites and set the yolks aside. Beat the sugar and butter together until smooth. Add the egg yolks, the egg whites and finally the flour and baking powder, mixing gently. Pour the mixture into a greased pan and bake in a preheated medium oven for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown.

This cake is very simple so doesn't take much time to make and the recipe is very simple as well and only takes ingredients that are healthy and you have at home!
