With the medical records and bills that have been received, we will prepare a demand letter that describes the facts of the accident and your injuries, treatment, pain and suffering, and loss of wages (if applicable). We will ask the insurance company to pay out a certain amount in compensation for your claim in the demand letter.
DEMAND
Please be advised that the at-fault insurance carrier is allowed 30 days upon receipt to review and respond, whereas the under/uninsured insurance carrier is allowed 60 days upon receipt to review and respond.
Not only is receiving treatment the right thing to do for your health, but if you do not obtain treatment for some time following your accident, the insurance adjuster and jury will assume that you are not hurt. Thus, if you are still experiencing pain, it is imperative you receive consistent care.
