Deciduous and evergreen trees

Deciduous trees lose all of their leaves in autumn and are bare over the winter. In spring, the leaves grow back and are present throughout the summer.

Evergreen trees keep their leaves throughout the year. When the leaves fall, it happens gradually rather than all at once.
