What is an opering system?

An Operating system is a system software that manages computer hardware and software resources, and provides common services for the computer programs.

Step in installing an Operating System

• Insert the DVD into your DVD Drive, and restart your computer.
• Boot up from the DVD.
• Follow any instrustions that is display, click next, and then click install.
• Read the license terms, check the "i accept" box, and click next.
• If you are asked "Which type of installation do you want?" click "Custom(advanced)".
• Then continue to fill out anything asked, and keep clicking next.
• You computer may restart a couple of times so don't panic.
• Once installation is finished, fill in anything to setup your computer
