Examples of operating systems

The operating system manages all the software within the computer system such as the memory, process management, hadnling input and output, whilst controlling the peripheral devices such as keyboard or mouse.

1. choose an operating system that can match your computers requirements.
2. if you already have an operating system, you will need to remove it by erasing the primary boot hard disk.
3. make sure that the BIOS is ready (it is the program that the computer's processor uses to start the computer system after it is powered on.
4. once everything is ready, you can install the operating system
5. on settings, you will need to change the server to RAID (which allows the previous data from the previous operating system to be installed into the new Operating system)
6. now the operating system is functional after you update the drivers
