On September 24, the body of Robert Smitherson, a concierge at the Getty Palace Hotel, was found dead in Elevator #2 on the basement level. The hotel is located in the old part of town in rural South Carolina.The 24 year-old male had a girlfriend named Alisha and a dog named Hunter. He worked for the hotel for about 2 years and was going to get a promotion. He would soon become Head of Public Relations for the hotel. To celebrate, he planned on proposing to his girlfriend.

Susan is the Head Housekeeper and has worked at the hotel for 15 years. She has hopes of growing her career at the hotel as she has poured her heart and soul into her job. She likes Robert but feels he is still very young and has time to become successful.

Nancy is the Hostess of the Cafe in the hotel. She is Robert's work best friend and loves how kind, funny and driven he is. She is not a big fan of Alisha and thinks Robert could do better.

Alisha is Robert's girlfriend of 3 years. She is an English teacher and loves to hang out with Robert and Hunter, their dog. Around the time of Robert's death Alisha felt him get distant and secretive. She is worried he is keeping something from her.

Crime Scene

Nancy, the jealous friend who felt her chances were coming to an end with Robert, is guilty. In a rage, she realized Robert not only would be leaving their hotel norms for a promotion but would also be soon engaged to Alisha. She couldn't let her dream man slip out of her hands. She committed Robert's murder.
