O que é?

É uma condição inflamatória crónica comum da pele que afeta mais frequentemente a face.Muitas das vezes é confudida com acnes, eczemas ou alergias.Cracteriza-se por vermelhidão, vasos dilatados e sensação de calor na região central da face

Acredita-se que exista uma predisposição do organismo da pessoa,aliada ao histórico familiar e a participação de um ácaro normal da pele (Demodex Folliculorum).

Há várias terapeuticas disponiveis mas a sua prescrição depende da gravidade da doença.De momento, não cura. A pele da pessoa da rosácea é extremamente sensível e há que ter cuidado na seleção dos produtos de higiene e cosméticos .

Grau 1

Rosácea erimato-telangiectásia: caracterizada por vasos sanguíneos salientes e vermelhidaõ

Grau 2

Pápula-pustulosa: vermelhidão com bolhas vermelhas (pápulas) preenchida com um pouco de pus (pústulas)

Grau 3

Rosácea Fimatosa: nesta fase evolutiva surge um aumento do volume e espessuras da pele

Rosácea ocular: olhos secos,vermelhos, congestionados e irritados.
