Most important question when giving a medication??
Why is this medication prescribed for my patient? =Why are we giving this med to this patient? ALWAYS KNOW THE "WHY" BEHIND THE MED!
- Medications are developed in a laboratory.
- Majority of medications on the market today are synthetics.
Synthetics
- Prescription medications require an order by health care professional who is liscensed to prescribe.
- Non prescription are often called "over the counter" or "OTC" medications.
