This policy provides a framework to follow when a colleague’s capability impacts the services we offer, other colleagues in the team or the wider business.
This policy outlines responsibilities and how by working together, we hope to get colleagues ready to return to work fully supported.
Capability Policy
Wellness Policy
We don’t want anyone working for Thrive to think coasting along, relying on other colleagues to pick up the slack or ‘that’ll do’ is enough for us. We want Thrive to be a place where we all take responsibility and pride in what and how we do things. This means:
- Working Smart,
- Keeping engaged with colleagues and customers,
- • Taking responsibility, pride and passion in our work,
- • Striving for the best possible outcomes in line with our ambition to be a professional landlord.
Empowering Performance Policy
At Thrive we know growing or starting a family is an exciting time and we want to provide you with leave and financial support that helps you during such a significant life event. This policy applies to all directly employed colleagues of Thrive Homes and its subsidiary businesses.
Family Friendly Policy
At Thrive we want to create a working environment that helps keep colleagues healthy, supporting both physical and mental wellbeing. That said we recognise, coughs, colds and other more complex and longer lasting illnesses can prevent us attending work and colleagues will need time away from the day job to recoup and recover. This Working back to Wellness Policy is designed to make clear where responsibilities lie and how by working together, we hope to get colleagues ready to return to work fully supported.
Wellness Policy
At Thrive we trust that colleagues want to always meet the high standards of conduct we expect from each other. However, there may be times when poor choices lead to conduct falling below our expectations. In this situation, we will do what we can to support colleagues back to the right path and take action as appropraite.
Disciplinary Policy
This policy aims to provide managers with a framework to follow when a colleague’s capability dips below or continually fluctuates, impacting the services we offer, other colleagues in the team or the wider business. The process seeks to provide support to our colleague back to a consistently acceptable level of performance making clear that ultimately, if this cannot be achieved within a reasonable timescale Thrive will have to make a decision about on-going employment.
Capability Policy
This policy sets out the key principles which govern the way we pay colleagues, exceptional performance rewards and recognise key colleague events. We know pay has an impact on how alued colleagues feel and how we are seen as an employer, therefore we’ll ensure our pay arrangements are aligned with the strategic objective of making Thrive a great place to work.
Colleague Reward & Recognition
At Thrive we recognise the value staff place on choice and flexibility, therefore for those of us in a role that can be undertaken successfully away from the office this policy sets out the framework within which work and other day to day commitments can be balanced.
Smart & Flexible Working Policy
This policy explains how you can claim for travel, meals and accommodation, business entertainment, home office equipment, gifts, and staff days, whilst providing some guidance around what is not claimable. We want to ensure that you are properly reimbursed for legitimate business expenses and these expenses are treated appropriately for tax purposes.
Expenses Policy
Through policies and procedures and the way we work Thrive Homes seek to: • Ensure colleagues, Board and other agencies/contractors providing services to Thrive, and its customers will act with integrity• Maintain systems to provide assurance that its resources are used appropriately • Foster a culture that supports and enables people to raise concerns as soon as they ariseThis policy applies to everyone working for or on behalf of Thrive.
Anti-Fraud & Corruption Policy
Creating a working environment where genuine concerns can be aired is a key component to Thrive being a Great Place to work. Having open and honest relationships across Thrive underpins what we do and how we get things done. However, we recognise that there may be times colleagues feel their concerns are not being heard or indeed dealt with, to address this situation we have developed this policy.
