Internal Systems

Our Patient Administration System (PAS) is a key IT system within Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust. It is used to capture information about the identity of a patient as well as administrative information related to their treatment. The information in this system often feeds other Key IT systems used by the trust. If you only complete PAS M1 you will not be able to attend any other modules as this is read only. In order to attend any other modules, you must complete PAS M2. Click HERE for guidance on the correct course to book. Trust Care Coordination Solution (CCS) is a technology-led solution that will bring together inpatient information from multiple IT systems and provide a single tool for managing waiting lists and scheduling theatre sessions. It allows us to make better, faster, more co-ordinated decisions, by providing data all in one place with easier access for staff. In this way, we can quickly gain an accurate picture of who is waiting and for how long, better manage our capacity planning and optimise the use of our resources. This will enable real time, effective decision making and ensures the right thing to do for the patient is the easiest thing to do for the clinician. The training is classroom based as well as e-learning and all online training dates can be viewed and booked through Kallidus. Click the tab below and 'send me new dates' to get started.

Psychometric Interventions

Discovery Insights Insights discovery is built to help people understand themselves, understand others, and make the most of the relationships that affect them in the workplace. This tool aligns personality types for four colour energies and demonstrates how we use our personality type in practice. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) The purpose of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) personality inventory is to make the theory of psychological types described by Carl Jung as "understandable and useful in people's lives." The essence of the theory is that much seemingly random variation in the behaviour is actually quite orderly and consistent, being due to basic differences in the ways individuals prefer to use their perception and judgment. Belbin System Management Belbin theory states that there are nine roles which need to be occupied within any team. The Belbin philosophy is about celebrating – and making the most of – individual differences. The message is that there is room for everyone in the team: all positive contributions are welcome.
