Le récit :

C'est l'histoire d'Abena violéé par un marin anglais à bord d'un bateau négrier. Après cela, Tituba, née de ce crime à la Barbabe et est considéré comme un enfant de la douleur car sa mère lui porte très peu d'affections et va trouver refuge chez Yao qui se révèle l'amant de sa maman...Ensuite, pendant que le mari d'abena continue ces crimes insistants qu'Abena décide de se suicidcer devant les yeux de sa fille et par la suite Yao se donnera également la mort. C'est alors queTituba est recuilli par Man Yaya sa tante une vieille femme considéréé comme une sorcière car elle possèderait des savoirs...

Comme autre titre au livre, je donnerai : "Une enfant non désirée par sa maman"

le titre :

MOI, TITUBA SORCIERE.car à l'époque avoir des savoirs pour une femme n'était pas dans la norme et elles étaient considérées comme des sorcières. Je trouve que le titre définie clairement le livre.

Ici, l'auteur a voulu ecrire ce livre pour rappeler comment les femmes étaient traitées à l'époque. Et surtout les femmes noires. Elle raconte l'histoire d'une fille née d'un viol et dont la maman ne l'aime pas, je pense qu'ici l'auteur a voulu mettre en évidence des situations et sentiments réels.

Je vous conseille ce livre si vous aussi tout comme moi vous aimez les histoires parlant de nos descendants et qui font ressortir plusieurs émotions... alors je vous le conseil vivement . Mais également les histoires qui dès la première page vous explique le contexte dans lequel vous etes et qui ne vous font pas attendre le milieu du livre pour cela..
