Laura Guga-Voyce was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the University Partnerships division in January 2023, in addition to her role as Group Compliance and Operations Director. Laura is responsible for all strategic, operational, and academic matters for our University Partnerships division as well as Regulatory and Immigration Compliance, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and Data Protection across the Group. Laura joined Oxford International in February 2018, having previously worked at BPP University and Kaplan. Her career in education spans more than 20 years including roles in Registry, Student Services, Academic Services and Regulatory/Immigration Compliance. She has a Masters Degree in Media and Communications from Goldsmiths College and is currently undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Exam.

Tom joined Oxford International in July 2019 as the Group Chief Financial Officer. Tom oversees all aspects of financial reporting and planning as well as compliance, data and strategy and is focused on further improving and simplifying processes. He works very closely with the Group CEO to support the rapid growth of the business and represents the Group for all aspects finance at the Board.

Gary Palmer was appointed the Managing Director for our English Language division in the UK in May 2019, after serving as the Head of Operations for the Junior programmes since 2016. Gary has been working with Oxford International since 2009 when he started as an Activity Leader at one of our Spring programmes.

Jo Grendall joined Oxford International Education Group in September 2022 as Chief Human Resources Officer. Her strategic responsibilities include the professional development of colleagues across the world, the dynamic acquisition and management of talent, staff engagement, and the promotion of a culture of core values, staff well-being, and the celebration of success. This remit enables colleagues across the world to flourish professionally, in turn creating outstanding outcomes for our students and helping Oxford International to deliver growth for itself and its partners.

Sharon is graduate of the University of British Columbia and oversees our North American operations in the role of Managing Director. Sharon and her business partner Makiko Yonenaga (now Senior Director for Oxford International North America) were the founders and former owners of Vancouver Maple Leaf Language College Inc. (VMLLC) which they established in 1990 and was acquired by Oxford International Education Group in 2013.

David Pilsbury has been appointed as Chief Development Officer at Oxford International Education Group where he will be responsible for leading the group’s higher education growth and development strategy. David was previously Deputy Vice Chancellor, International at Coventry University, a position he had held since 2008. He was responsible for all international activities including joint ventures, recruitment, collaborative delivery, curriculum internationalization, mobility and enhancement.

Lil was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of Oxford International in 2019, after serving as the Group Commercial Director since 2017. During her tenure at Oxford International, Lil has been successful in driving massive growth across the Academic Division and has steered the Group through significant business change and development during the Covid19 crisis.

An educationalist and entrepreneur with over eighteen years of experience in assisting international institutions with turnkey solutions in recruitment, agent management and back office operations. Based upon his vast understanding of the domestic higher education market as a student recruiter and educationalist he has plugged several gaps in the market which he firmly believed were with-holding the progress of otherwise able higher education aspirants.

Andy is appointed as Chief Commercial Officer at Oxford International Education Group, and is responsible for leading and driving engagement to support students and universities, including the current UK and North American pathways, the Digital Institute and Direct to University Recruitment. Having worked across Asia, Africa and the Middle East, Andy has brought a diverse amount of knowledge to Oxford International after joining as Pathways Global Sales Director.
