Genre Theory is a way of gathering movies together based on similar themes, styles and patterns. It helps us to know what to expect from different types of movies.

Horror is creating a intense feeling of fear, suspense, terror and terrifying. It incluides, monsters, vampires, ghosts, clowns and many more.

• Extreme close up shots -
• Point of view shots -
• Low angles - to make the hero or villain or monster seem taller, bigger, stronger, more powerful or intimidating.
• Close up - to express emotions without saying anything
• Tracking and panning shot - To make the charcter look as if they are being watche dor followed
• Bird eyed shot - establishing shot of a scene

Camera Angles

• Horror movies use sound and music within their movies because it makes the auidence think that something is going to happen. The music will become very dramatic and more louder when a substantial event is going to happen.
