Collect 8-10 quotes (at least 1 sentence each) from throughout the novel that support a THEME. Include the theme along with the quotes.
Create a piece of art or a picture that portrays the SETTING of the novel. You may draw by hand or use digital art. Be sure your picture is based on evidence from the text.
Choose 5 vocabulary words from throughout the novel to study. For each word, do the following: 1. copy the sentence from the book 2. highlight context clues that may help a reader guess the meaning 3. write the definition of the word as it is being used 4. create a new sentence that uses the word correctly
Choose a passage that you believe is important to the plot of the novel. Practice and then record a reading of the passage. Also include your explanation of WHY the passage is important.
