This type of climate change effects the world globaly by damaging infrastructure, ecosystems, contamination and more. Along with excessibe heat is takes a tole because it can do much more than just make humans take precaution when walking outside but meting glaciers, icesheets, and cause sea levels to rise from this. This effect does reach everyone and everthing including animals and plants.
California is another state that is feeling simialr effects from climate change as Florida. California has flooding different times during the year which can be from a mulitude of reasons. "All regions of California are susceptible to flooding at different times of the year and in different forms ranging from tsunamis in coastal areas to alluvial fan flooding at the base of hillsides, and from fast-moving flash floods to slow rise deep flooding in valleys." (water.ca.gov) Probably because of being surrounded by plains and rivers there is a lot of water that could travel farther than needed due to water rising or storms. This causes envirmental damage and to humans as well by houses getting destroyed and even habitats getting wiped out.
Miami Florida is one of the many places that is affected by climate change. From stroms every yer and the cost to maintain whats happening rigth now but mainly the excesssive heat and flooding thats happening. "The increased amount of carbon and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is trapping more and more heat, causing average global temperatures to rise. Heat is already, on average, the leading weather-related killer in the U.S." (Miami.gov) The pollution thats coninuing to grow is causing massive heat waves that causing florida to feel it and other places aswell. Florida is also dealing with massive flooding."Globally, sea levels are rising as average temperature is rising. This is primarily due to thermal expansion of ocean water and melting land ice. As a low-lying coastal city, Miami is vulnerable to the effects of sea level rise." (miami.gov) From king tides to excessive rainy days that all put in work for the damage caused from sea level rising gretly impacts florida more often than you think. The city of miami has made plans to combat these two issues which consist of Greenhouse Reduction Plan for the pollution thats effecting every where and the Stromwater Master Plan for dealing with the flooding by imporving drainage and better city designs that will tackle it more efficiently.
