También conocida como Cuzco o Qosqo, capital arqueológica de América, fue la ciudad principal del Imperio Inca, considerada por los mismos como “Ombligo del mundo”. Era el centro vital del milenario Tahuantinsuyo (Imperio de los Incas) y en la actualidad es la ciudad más visitada del Perú por ofrecer gran riqueza arquitectónica y espiritual.

Tambomachay es un sitio arqueológico ubicado en la cordillera de los Andes, a solo 7 kilómetros al noreste de la ciudad peruana de Cusco. Fue construido por los incas y consiste en una serie de acueductos, canales y varias cascadas de agua que discurren por las rocas. Fue destinado para el culto al agua y para que el potentado del Imperio incaico pudiese descansa

Contiene recintos, terrazas y una acequia intacta. La parte alta del conjunto es atravesada por el Camino del Inca junto con un canal de irrigación. Probablemente haya sido utilizado como laboratorio de productos agrícolas por los diversos microclimas que se hallan en este complejo.

El conjunto Tipón se encuentra cerca de Oropesa en la Comunidad de Choquepata, a 27 km al sudeste del Cusco, en el Perú y junto a la carretera Cusco-Puno.

La Iglesia de San Cristóbal es una iglesia católica ubicada en la ciudad del Cuzco, Perú. Se encuentra ubicada en el extremo oeste de la plaza del Colcampata en el cerro Sacsayhuamán siendo paso obligado en el camino entre la Plaza de Armas y las ruinas de Sacsayhuamán. Debido a su ubicación, es la iglesia que se encuentra en mayor altitud de la ciudad y puede ser vista desde la misma plaza y diversos puntos de la zona monumental del Cusco.

El Cristo Blanco es el monumento más famoso de la ciudad del Cusco. Se trata de una estatua de Jesucristo que alcanza los 8 metros de altura y alza sus brazos en señal de protección en lo alto de la ciudad. Se encuentra junto a la fortaleza de Sacsayhuaman. El ingreso a este monumento es gratuito. La mayoría de personas prefiere ir allí con la famosa ruta en ‘mirabus

La montaña de los 7 Colores (también llamado Vinicunca o simplemente ‘montaña arcoíris’) es una de las nuevas y mejores atracciones del Perú. Ubicada a más de 100 kilómetros de la ciudad del Cusco, en una cumbre altitudinal situada a 5,200 metros sobre el nivel del mar (m.s.n.m.). Se trata de una formación montañosa teñida de varias tonalidades producto de la compleja combinación de minerales. Las laderas y la cumbre están teñidas de diversas tonos que incluyen el rojo, morado, verde, amarillo, rosado y otras variaciones. Este atractivo turístico estuvo rodeado de hielo hace no muchos años
