Weighting refers to the amount marks given to an assignment within the module. If there is only one assignment then it will have a weighting of 100. If there are 2 assignments and one carries more 'weight' than the other, then you may end up with a 70/30 split.

The word count is set at 2,000 words. For this and all written assignments you have a 10% leeway. That means you can be up to 10% ( or 200 words in this case) under or over the word count. Remember that citations (in text references) and direct quotes do not count
