We have sand dunes in Colorado! It's a rare phenomenon where the sand got trapped by the geological formations of the mountains and allowed the sand dunes to develop. Remind me to tell you about my adventures camping in the Sand Dunes!

Denver Botanic Gardens is one of my favorite places to explore in the city. I met Julie the artist of this painting at Bungalow Craft. When I saw her during the Open Art Studios, she even let me play with her paints!

The magnet is by the same artist, Julie from Bungalow Craft that did the Denver Botanic Gardens magnet. The Manitou Incline is 2,744 steps up the side of a mountain! I've done it several times, but always it is the 90 year woman who does it several times a week smiles and passes me by! One year I climbed it on Christmas Eve and added an ornament to the tree at the top!
