Introduction

The DFM focuses on three key areas of the Rowan-VIrtua Mission:

  • Research

Clinical Care We provide patient care at five sites across four counties in southern New Jersey. Education Our department is involved in undergradate and graduate medical education in years 1-3 of UME and across 4 programs at 2 Sponsoring Institutions for GME. Research The DFM has several major HRSA grants, several smaller local grants, and is actively involved in the SMRF program for UME students.

OCS: History + Physical 2 (HP2)

HP2 runs on Tuesday mornings from July to January. In this course, students build upon their learnings Y1, learning the rest of the systems' physical exam skills.
