During Annual Performance Reviews, you will review goals from the previous period, and assign goals for the next review period. Engage with your employees to detemine goals. This tutorial will show how to assign a goal, and also how to approve a goal that an employee has submitted.In many instances, you will click where the arrow is pointing. On some pages, there may be ? buttons to click for more information.

Typically you will want to work with an employee to determine their goals, and assign them in ADP to ensure that the goals are measureable and that you both have an understanding of what "completing" the goal looks like.The next steps show how you would assign a goal.

Assigning a Goal

Type in a description, any required trainings to complete, and how improvements will be measured here.

Type in a name for the goal here.

Click once on the scroll bar.

Then add employees to this goal.

Define your start & end dates for the goal. The goal may not be the whole review period. It could be a few weeks or a few months.

If you have multiple employees, they will all show here. If mutliple employees have the same goal, you can select all that apply.

The next steps show how you would review and approve a goal submitted by your staff.

Approving a Goal

You can use either one to review and approve a goal.

You can edit pieces of the submitted goal.Click next to continue in the tutorial.

You can send back for the staff member to make edits, or approve after reviewing.

Your comments will be seen by the employee.Click the back button to return and approve the goal for this tutorial.

You can now exit the browser.
