The Trail Conservancy (TTC) is a 501(c)3 dedicated to protecting, enhancing, and connecting the Ann and Roy Butler Trail at Lady Bird Lake for the benefit of all.

What is a 501(c) (3) ?

A 501(c)(3) is a special kind of nonprofit in the U.S. that doesn't pay certain taxes, and donations to it can be tax-deductible.

Through careful improvements to the Trail’s infrastructure and environment, The Trail Conservancy continues the work of the Citizen’s Committee and ensures that the heart of Austin beats on.

Why I chose to volunteer here?

I opted for this trash-picking volunteer opportunity because I believe in the importance of taking small actions that collectively make a big difference.

It doesn't take much time to volunteer in this way, and I can feel good about myself knowing that I'm protecting the environment while I'm taking in the beauty of nature.

Requirements!

  • Bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • Wear comfortable weather-appropriate shoes and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty.
  • We will provide all necessary materials, but you are welcome to bring your own gloves.
