SOUTH AMERICASouth America is located in the Southern and Western Hemispheres,The major countries in South America are Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Venezuela, Chile, Paraguay and Ecuador. South America is famous for the Amazon Rainforest, the biggest rainforest in the world. Other geological features of South America are the Andes mountains and the Atacama Desert.

NORTH AMERICA North America is located in the Northern and Western Hemispheres. The major countries in north america are Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The climate varies from very cold in the northern parts of Canada to very hot in the southern United States and Mexico for the majority of the year.

THE OCEANSAn ocean is a large body of saltwater. There are five oceans. They are the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, and Antarctic oceans.

THE CONTINETSEarth's surface consists of large masses of land called continents and large bodies of water called oceans. There are seven continents. They are North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica.
