HYDRAULIC BRIDGES
Bridges are structures that connect two points separated by a body of water, a valley, or a road
They have been used since ancient times to facilitate transportation and trade, and today, they are an essential part of our infrastructure. There are several types of bridges, each with its own specific characteristics and uses.

The Different Types of Bridges
A hydraulic bridge is a type of movable bridge that can be lifted with the help of a hydraulic circuit to allow entry through a gate, or to allow maritime traffic through a body. The moving part is rotated via a horizontal axis or as a hinge.
Hydraulic Bridges
These bridges use the arch as the main structural component. They are made with one or more hinges, depending on what type of load and stress forces they must withstand. Examples of arch bridges are the "Old Bridge" in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Hell's Gate Bridge in New York
Arch bridges
They are very popular bridge designs that use diagonal mesh of posts over the bridge. The two most common designs are main posts (two diagonal posts supported by a single vertical column in the center) and main posts (two diagonal posts, two vertical pots, and horizontal posts connecting two vertical posts at the top)
Girder brifges
A truss bridge is a bridge whose load-bearing superstructure is composed of a truss, a structure of connected elements that usually form triangular units. Bars can be subjected to tension, compression, or sometimes both in response to dynamic loads.

A suspension bridge is a type of bridge in which the platform (the part that supports the load) hangs below the suspension cables using vertical tie rods. The first modern examples of this type of bridge were built in the early 1800s.
Suspension Bridges
A cable-stayed bridge is a type of bridge in which the deck (the traffic surface) is suspended from one or more central pylons by cables. These bridges use large steel cables that are suspended from tall towers or pylons to support the bridge deck.
