  • I am a Senior at WKU.
  • My major is Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education
  • My genius project is about quality education and ways to improve the education system.

WHAT IS QUALITY EDUCATION?

  • It focuses on the whole child.
  • It prepares the child for life, not just for testing.

WHAT IS LOW-QUALITY EDUCATION?

  • 263 million children and youth around the world are out of school.
  • Challenges that schools face are scarcity of resources, very little training for teachers, and children receive low engagement with parents.

  • We do not raise our standards enough.
  • Today's curriculum is different from previous curriculum.

If I were to change things in my advocacy solution, I would change the following:
