tHE fUTURE
We meet weekly, discussing developments and ideas to continue to develop learning and curriculum at Johnston C.P. School.
Leaders are provided with 6 days out of the classroo each day, rather than a regular weekly slot.
lEADERSHIP Development
Our leadership structure has been developed using the Schools as Learning organisations model.
We use the Schools as Learning Organisations survey to inform our planning and development. We take the survey every summer.
Vision statement: A forward looking school that provides a nurturing environment for all. We have a creative and engaging curriculum steeped in learning opportunities and experiences linked to real world matters, encouraging all pupils to achieve their potential in everything they do.
We are aiming to develop a curriculum that links skills, experiences and knowledge.
School motto : Mentra Dysgu
Outdoor learning provision is a hallmark of our school.
