Getting Started Checklist

Week One

  • Day One: Review the Induction Plan given to you by your manager, this will guide you through the people you will be meeting in your first few weeks as well as practicalities such as collecting your IT equipment and detailing the mandatory training you must complete
  • Day One: Present evidence of your right to work in UK to the central HR operations team on your first day, if not done already – this is essential, without it you cannot start work with us. Be ready to provide any outstanding new joiner paperwork including:
  • Payroll & HMRC forms
  • Emergency contact and equal opportunities form
  • Signed contract
  • Signed IT policy and confidentiality schedule
  • Make sure your email signature is set up. Details on the correct format may be found here.
Beyond Week One
  • Attend your probation reviews, discuss your progress and highlight areas where you would like more support or guidance
  • Join the People Team end of month coffee catch up call along with other new starters within the business
  • Visit an Ark school, where applicable to your role
