Controlling condensate water

The condensate drain must not be direct, but must be connected to the waste water, rain water or drainage system via a siphon or must be discharged via a downpipe into a gravel bed in a frost free area.

The condensate water must be managed to avoid the water freezing during winter and causing a slip hazard

An optional drain kit is available from Mitsubishi to help control the flow of the condenasate water
