Teachers work 50 hours/week on average (across the US, Canada, UK, and Singapore); the average number of hours and teacher turnover is greater than 16% per year for teachers in the United States.

Differentiation

Teachers spend 49% of their time interacting with students. This means teachers spend less time providing direct instruction than other job-related tasks (e.g., preparation, evaluation, and administrative duties).
