This is a nice cinnamon sugar treat that can be ready in seconds!
Monkey Bread
- 1 TBSP water
- 1 8oz can refrigerated biscuits
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 4 TBSP butter

- In a round glass pie dish, combined brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, and water. Microwave on high for 1 minute.
- Remove dish from microwave (using hot pads), and stir ingredients until evenly combined.
- Cut biscuits into 8 even pieces.
- Place a custard cup in the middle of the glass dish to give the bread a ring shape.
- Place the biscuit pieces on top of the melted brown sugar mixture.
- Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until the dough is not sticky to touch.
- To serve the bubble bread, place a plate on top of the round dish and turn both upside down.
- Allow for STANDING TIME. (ABOUT 2 MINUTES). Pull pieces apart with your fingers and enjoy eating.

- Add butter, diced celery and carrots to a large stock pot over medium high heat. Saute for 3 minutes, Add garlic and cook fo ranother 30 seconds

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
- Melt 1 tbsp of the light butter in a large, deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the 2 tbsp of flour, and whisk. The flour and butter will mix and form clumps.
- Add the milk, whisking as you pour it in
- Chop the American cheese slices into small pieces. Measure out 2 cups of the fat free cheddar.
- Add both cheeses to the mixture, whisking to help break them down and melt.
- Stir until all of the cheese has melted, then set aside until the pasta is done.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. (This should be done simultaneously as the sauce is cooking so that they finish at the same time).
- Add the pasta; cook for 2 minutes less than the package directions advise. (For the corkscrew pasta I used, it recommended 11 minutes. So the total cook time for my pasta was 9 minutes).
- Spray a casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray, and then pour the mac and cheese in. Smooth out the top.

- Make sure you allow the biscuits to sit after microwaving! The food will keep cooking a little bit and if you microwave for too long, you will get hard biscuits.
- Soak the pan in warm water once you have your monkey bread on a plate. This will help clean the dish!
