CLICK ON EACH YOU SEE TO HELP YOU STUDY FOR YOUR QUIZ

"Archery is such a great LIFETIME activity. Anyone regardless of age can participate all throughout ones life."

The objective or archery is to get the highest score. The highest score is achieved by shooting an arrow into the center, or bull’s-eye. A bull’s-eye is worth 10 points. Arrows ON THE LINE between two rings, receive the higher point value. A miss results in a score of zero.

Remember when nocking your arrow, the odd-colored fletching faces AWAY from the strings.

RETRIEVE YOUR ARROW PRESS PLAY TO LISTEN AND FOLLOW ALONG1. Archers retrieve all their arrows that were fired. 2. To release arrows from the target, place one hand against the target with the shaft of the arrow in-between the thumb and index fingers (creates the letter V). With the other hand, make a fist and grab the shaft close to the target, and pull the arrow straight out and drop to the ground. 3. Then collect arrows from the ground. 4. Place one hand in the center off all arrows and the other hand will cover the tips as you WALK back to your quiver. 5. Place the arrows point down in the quiver and return to the waiting line.
