• Delaware had a proprietary government meaning a proprietor owns the colony.

• The physical geography of Delaware was flat lowlands and coastal plains. There were tons of swamps in Delaware colony. The physical geo was a mix of New England and Southern colonies.

• The populatio of Delaware mostly included British isles, Germans, slaves from Africa, and some of the people left from Native America

• There was no dominant religion, so it gave religious freedom to Quakers, Catholics, Lutherans, and Jews that lived in Delaware.
