• “The” and “a(n)” cannot be interchangeable (Comemos en el / un restaurante muy bueno el martes.)

• Comemos a / en un restaurante muy bueno los martes.

• Después de cenar, vamos al cine

• Mi familia y yo vamos al parque el sábado a las once. Luego, nosotros vamos a almorzar en casa y descansar un rato. Por último, nosotros vamos a ver una película.

Common Mistakes

At the beginning of your composition

- Read the instructions CAREFULLY.- Check if you need to use PRESENT/ PAST or BOTH. - Organize your ideas and what you want to write.

CONNECTORS - Primero, Segundo, Tercero.... - antes, después, luego, entonces - Pero, sino - Además, también -Porque -Finalmente, Por último

• Check VERBS IN present/past
• Make sure you have a list of verbs you want to use in your writing.
• Make sure you know the vocabulary to use with the verbs you chose.
• Check for connectors.
