Twilight is set in Forks, Washington. Forks is in the same state as Seattle, a little under 4 hours away from each other.
Bella's mom, Renée, liked to write and send letters to her after she moved from Phoenix, AZ, to Forks, WA, so that they could keep relatively in touch.
For almost half of the book, Bella, Edward and their friends are at Forks High School. They carried backpacks around with them to hold all of their materials and belongings.
In Twilight, Edward and his family invite Bella to play vampire baseball after introducing her to his parents and siblings. It's standard baseball, but because they have enhanced abilities, they are able to do things like throw and hit harder.
An apple is shown on the cover of Twilight. The author stated that the apple represented the forbidden fruit in a verse from the bible, which represents Bella's and Edward's forbidden love.
Twilight is a book by Stephanie Meyer about a teenager named Bella who moves to Forks, Washington to live with her dad, Charlie. There, she meets a boy, Edward, who interests her, and tries to find out more about him. I would give this book 5/5 stars because it was very interesting, and while it was cheesy, the book had a lot of important and exciting parts that really makes me want to read the second book.
