The Declaration of Independance followed enlightenment ideals and went against the rules of England. It was the colonies request for independence.
Women helped with the war by boycotting British goods and making thier own instead. THey also began to teach the youth about the republican views.
They met in Philadelphia, PA to form the army. In the meeting, they chose George Washington to lead the army, became the leadership of the colonies, and eventually led them to independence from Europe.
The first shot, or "the shot heard round the world," marked the start of the revolution. It also ignited the patriotism of many Americans, which would lead them to victory, and persuaded them to play a part in the war.

It was a key victory that earned Americans independence. With the help of the French, the Americans were able to defeat Lord Cornwallis.
Valley Forge demonstrated the resillience of the patriots because they remained strong throughout the tough conditions. They became a stronger army mentally.
Saratoga was the turning point of the revolution. France joined the patriots after this battle. This ultimately led to the patriots victory.
