Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consecteteur

Little Rock 9 was one of the biggest steps forward in putting an end to segregation. The whole purpose of this was to get blacks and whites to integrate schools. This took place at Central Highschool in Arkansas. The Little Rock 9 was met with an angry mob and volance. Yet that was no where near the end of that tearor.

This was Little Rock 9. These were the 9 students choosen to attend Central Highschool. These 9 students show not only bravery but determination. They showed up everyday even after facing angry mobs and even getting spat on. Even when dinided by guards they still woke up and went everyday.

These were the guards placed at Central HighschoolAfter orders 10 thousand guards were place at the highschool to stop Little Rock 9 from getting in. They marched everyday and they even had to at one point guard the students into the school. They had to protect them from angry mobs and angry whites.

This is Little Rock 9 leaving Central HIghschool at the end of there first day attending school in person. After being deninded access for days on end. They finally completed a full day of school but this didn't last very long before the mayor shut down all schools. Not just for a day or a week but for 1 whole year. During this many kids went to neighboring towns but they did not give up that easy.

He never did get to atened that strike later that day. He was staying at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis , Tennessee that later turned into the National Civil Rights Museum in 1991.

This artifact above me shows that wanted poster for Dr. KIngs killer. The name behind Dr. Kings cold blooded killer was James Earl Ray. The reasoning behind him killing Dr. King was simply because his apparent haterd for the civial rights movement. He also wanted to bring attention to the fact that white and blacks shouldn't integrate. In this case haterd drove him to kill the man face of cival rights Dr. Martin Luther King himself.

This is Dr. King on his death bedThis dr. King on his death bed after being shot. He sadly didn't make a recovery and died later that day. After fighting for his life and fighting for peoples rights and made the huge difference he did. He left this world doing what he loved and supported.

Montgomery Bus Boycott

Everything in the south was segrigated including busses. The rule goes whites in the front and blacks in the back. When Rosa Parks stepped onto the bus there were sets in the front of the bus and took a seat. There was no problem with this cause there were no whites that could have been sitting in her place. But as her ride went on more and more people started to fill the bus a white demanded for rosa to give up her seat. When rosa diended little did she know she would start a little longer than a year boycott.

This was the bus where Rosa Parks was arrested. This was the bus that Rosa Parks ended up getting arrested on. This would be the last bus she rides until over a year later. Everyone always thought the reason she never gave up her seat on the bus was pure bravery. Comes to find out that the reason she didn't give up her seat was because she was done giving in. She was done having people judge her based on the color of her skin People just getting to treat her like and object and not an actrul human.

This is the seat that Rosa Parks sat on and refused to give up.As you can see that the seat she sat in was marked in yellow to memorialize her and the movement she caused. This bus boycott did not only make a HUGE step in integration with transportation. By her not giving would end up being one of the best decisions that she would ever make. Not only that she would make history.

Rosa Parks mug shot. After police arived at the sense rosa was imedily taken into custity. She did not resist she knew that she was just standing up for her rights. After rosa got out of jail she started the bus boycott which all blacks stopped taking busses. You walked, biked, and if ur lucky got a taxi to work, school or other. Every black took part in this movement and after over a year it payed off. Busses were forced to de segrigate. All of her work payed off.
