The battle of Lexington and Concord were significant as they were the first battles of the American revolution that led to selecting leadership and independance for America becoming its own country.

The Second Continental Congress selected George Washington as the leader of the army due to his experience in the French and Indian war.

The impact of the role of women more equal education opportunities and equal political participation. Republican Motherhood was where women were called upon to teach republican values and grant women a new importance in American political culture.

The list of grievances against King George III and showed the he violated colonial rights, also displayed that natural rights have been violated and that the colonies wanted independance against the British.

Winter at Valley Forge contributed to the killing of many Patriots due to the unsanitary condition, shortages of food and contious exhaustion. It served as a great trial for the American army

The Battle of Yorktown served as the end of the revolution where American and French forces trapped the british and forced them to surrender, marking the end and victory of the American revolution

America gained Independence, set boundaries, fishing rights off Newfoundland and Nova Scotia and the British would give back any slaves taken from them.
