MLK on steps of Lincoln Memorial

Shortly after the Selma Marches, the nation joined MLK on the steps of Lincoln Memorial to peacefully talk about black rights.

The assassination of MLK is important to note because it demonstrates the end of a peaceful movement towards a blended society. We lost our man of reason and peace.

The Civil Rights Act helped move the nation to fully integrated with no job discrimination for color, nationality or sex.
