Les Journées du Patrimoine sont l’occasion idéale pour se plonger dans l’histoire et la restauration en cours du château d’Esquelbecq. Date : 16 et 17 septembre de 10h à 18h

Ateliers créatifs pour les enfants

L’exposition « Entre vie de château et vie de chantier », résume la nouvelle vie au château d’Esquelbecq. D’une part, des photos provenant d’un album de famille retrouvé : des scènes de vie, parties de tennis, fiançailles, promenades dans le parc, tour de barques dans les douves plongeront les visiteurs dans l’ambiance du siècle passé. De l’autre, ils vivront le temps de la reconstruction avec une matériauthèque, la boite à outils pour mieux appréhender et comprendre les enjeux de la restauration d’un monument historique.

L’exposition célèbrera l’Histoire, le patrimoine durable et l’engagement pour la préservation de notre héritage culturel.

Des artisans, acteurs de la restauration du château partageront leur savoir-faire. Dans le parc, les visiteurs auront l’opportunité rare de voir comment des arbres sont sciés et valorisés pour une restauration raisonnée de ce monument emblématique de la Flandre
