Review the verb 'to be'

Combine the verb to be with the adjectives to describe people.( I am small, I am nice, I am a teacher, I am short, I am happy). Students describe themselves to get apoint on the board.Then focus on he/ she is…… ask students to describe the teacherusing she is…….

Stage - students pair up and one pair at a time come up on stage and describe themselves, and their partner using he is/she is.

True/False Game: Using people from activity 1 link, come up with statements that students have to choose true or false for

Computer activity: what is the girl/boy wearing? "she is wearing.." (quickly revise clothes bypointing at each others clothes)Say some true/false statements about the picture and students must say if they are true/false.

Grammar: Present continuous (review the verb 'to be' before (I am wearing...)

Verbs: introduce some verbs. Kick, run, wave, smile, see, listen,watch, throw. Ask students to act out verbs.Play quick game of charades with these verbs.

Pass the bomb game- instead of passing the bomb the students should stand in a circle. Use a timer and Play with two different categories: fruit and animals.

Warmer Game: one side of room yes, on no and Teachers asks questions (do you like to play football, do you like to jump/sing/shout, etc)
