Contributions to quality
Deming developed the PDCA continuous improvement cycle, also known as the Deming cycle, which became a fundamental approach to quality management. This cycle is used to plan, implement, monitor and constantly improve processes.
Deming emphasized the importance of reducing variability in production processes and focusing on problem prevention rather than subsequent inspection.
