Comparatif / Superlatif

Supériorité (plus… que):

- Si l’adjectif est court, on ajoute ‘-er’ à la fin, sans le ‘more’ devant. Ex : nice —> nicer (than)

- Si l’adjectif est long, on ajoute ‘more’ devant l'adjectif. Ex : important —> more important (than)

- EXCEPTIONS:good = betterbad = worse far = farther / further

Infériorité (moins… que):

less + adjectif + than (EX: my car is less expensive than yours)not as + adjectif + as (EX: Bob is not as tall as Greg)

Égalité (autant/aussi… que):

as + adjectif + as (EX: Bob is as tall as Greg)

Supériorité (le plus...):

- Si l’adjectif est court, on ajoute 'the' devant l'adjectif + ‘-est’ à la fin. Ex : nice —> the nicest

- Si l’adjectif est long, on ajoute ‘the most’ devant l'adjectif. Ex : important —> the most important

- EXCEPTIONS:good = the bestbad = the worst far = the farthest / the furthest

Infériorité (le moins...) :

the least + adjectif (EX: This is the least interesting article I’ve ever read).
