Over time, how we die at each age has vastly changed thanks to the developments of modern medicine and technology. Death rates though, have varied.https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data-visualization/mortality-trends/index.htm
How Often do we die?
Although there were some peaks and valleys, the general trend of life span in the U.S. has been positive, and the trend of death rate has been negative (or lowering)
In the early 1900's, according to the CDC the life expectancy across all races and sexes was 47.3 in the U.S.
