GT Project Menu Options: Click each icon to preview the instructions. There are two options for each subject: Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Social Emotional. Be creative and have fun!

READING: The main character of your book is secretly a superhero! What is their superpower? How did they become a superhero? What do they stand for? Write a short story in cursive to tell about your characters secret life. Draw a picture to go with your story of your superhero in their costume. Share your story and picture with your teacher.

READING: Create a How-To video explaining to another student how to alphabetize words to the 3rd letter. Create a visual tool to use in your lesson, such as a Google slide. Share your video with your teacher in Seesaw.

Social Emotional Learning: We all experience big feelings. Just are few are disappointment and anger. Think about 5 big feelings you've experienced. Create a slideshow in Google Slides naming the 5 big emotions, the cause of the feeling & how you handled the situation. Share it with your teacher.

MATH: Solve this place value riddle. Next, write two riddles of your own for numbers that have 5 or 6 digits. Finally, put the 3 answers to the riddles in order from greatest to least. I am worth more than 20 hundreds. I am worth less than 6000 ones. My tens digit is greater than my ones. I am a multiple of 5. Who am I? Answer choices: 3726, 5291, 6423, 7185, 4428, 5925

SOCIAL STUDIES: Create a comic strip that outlines a day in the life of a person in your community. Can be in the present, or in the past.

SOCIAL STUDIES: Create a poster to explain the concept of community. You can use large manilla paper and construction paper. Add illustrations.

SCIENCE: Pretend to be a superhero called Liquid Boy or Liquid Girl. You have to convince the Avengers to let you be on their team to fight against evil. Write a persuasive speech about your properties that would benefit their group. Include a sketch of your costume.

SCIENCE: States of Matter Design an interactive activity for the class in which your classmates will determine if a substance is a solid, a liquid, or a gas. How will they show what they know?

SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING: We all get frustrated & stressed out! What makes you frustrated? What helps you relax? Design your own Window Pane illustrating 4 ways that help you relax.
