STATIVE VERBS

STATIVE VERBS

I think it’s important to know how to speak English (verb of state) I’m thinking about taking an English course (verb of action)

These verbs include: feel, have, look, smell, think.

This is when they describe actions rather than states.

Some stative verbs can be used in a non-stative way.

CAREFUL!
