-Edinburgh is a city in the United Kingdom. Second most populous city in Scotland, of which it is the capital, it is also the seventh most populous city in the United Kingdom with approximately 500,000 inhabitants; 1.4m if the entire metropolitan area is considered. -It stands on the east coast of Scotland, on the south bank of the Firth of Forth, approximately 70 km to the east, and is built on seven hills. It is the second most populous city in Great Britain, with around two million tourists a year. -Edinburgh has a temperate oceanic climate with much milder winter temperatures than other locations.
