We must first assess the state of consciousness by stimulation.

If they do not respond, we must open the airway using the head-tilt/chin-lift technique.

Begin Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.

We seal the person's mouth with our lips and expel air.

If you do not know the correct insufflation technique or do not feel confident performing it, continue with step 3 until help arrives.
