Covid in toddlers
COVID-19 in infants and children
- Children account for about 19% of all reported COVID-19 cases in the United States since the pandemic began.
- Although children are just as likely to get COVID-19 as adults, they are less likely to get seriously ill.
Some children with COVID-19 need to be admitted to the hospital, treated in the intensive care unit, or put on a ventilator to help them breathe.
